Laurie and I have been working up tunes now together for over 3 years. This gig is an opportunity for us to create some of our delicate nuances. These are difficult to get in larger group settings. Some music will be completely free form. Other original songs may not be free form, but still sound like that to some listeners. But, most music will be tonal with structure...i.e.- Blues, Standards, Latin, Ballads...plenty for any discriminating listener.
