As a family friend, I was asked to provide music for Don's memorial service. The piano on-site is a beautiful Shigeru Kawaii, the finest of Japanese pianos. Two of the selections I will perform come from the Romantic period of the 19th century; Hungarian Rhapsody no.13 by Franz Liszt and Polonaise op.40, no.1 by Frederick Chopin, commonly called the Military Polonaise, theme of the historic 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
